Burberry recently showcased its 'Womenswear Autumn Winter 2015' collection entitled Patchwork, Pattern & Prints. Held in Kensington Gardens, the show saw Burberry icons Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn donning the new collection, along with other guests such as Sam Smith, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mario Testino, Mira Duma and Malaysian TV personality Marion Caunter.
British singer and songwriter Clare Maguire reinforced the show with a live performance with four songs and an original composition 'Give Me', written exclusively for the show. Clare was accompanied by London Contemporary Voices, The Langley Sisters and her band.
“It was such an honour to be invited back to play so soon after doing the Men's show. Christopher's creative vision is such an inspiration and the collection was incredible,” Clare said.
“We called the show “Patchwork, Pattern & Prints” which really sums up what’s at the heart of the collection; a relaxed yet intricate collection of dramatic silhouettes, handcrafted embroidery, and detailed embellishments. We love this theme, which is a patchwork of ideas, textiles, silhouettes and our favourite Burberry pieces – all evolved to reflect the relaxed Bohemian spirit,” said Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer of Burberry.
