Sunway Scream Park primed to deliver a spook-tacular time for guests
Halloween is fast approaching and Sunway Scream Park is eager to capitalise on the spookiest time of year. A favourite amongst visitors, the attraction has been delivering spine-chilling and hair-rising experiences to entertain guests for years.
Spread over ‘three floors of fear’, the Lynton V. Harris’ Scream Park takes the walk-through scare exhibition of horror monsters from Zombie Apocalypse, Pontianak to Kevil Hill with Hollywood-style sets and a team of highly specialised and trained performers that will sure to bring the whole adventure to spooky life.
This year promises more scare fests and fun with the addition of the Ghostbusters Adventure Live. Launched for the first time in Asia, the new interactive Ghostbusters attraction is being launched to coincide with the July release of the horror-comedy franchise.
Part of Scream Park’s Phase 9 expansion, the Ghostbusters attraction is the biggest annual investment to-date in the park since its launch seven years ago, joining a host of other blockbuster-themed attractions such as Terminator, Night At The Museum, Prison Break LIVE! and World War Z.
The entire top level of Scream Park has been transformed into a spooky maze based on the latest re-launch of the Ghostbusters film, where visitors will have to navigate a 15-minute journey through the maze and encounter some hidden surprises – as well as a cast of live actors who will play the parts of ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘ghosts’.
Every phase of the park’s expansion since its inception has brought with it a new scary attraction, taking visitors on a non-stop spooky journey as the actors, the setting and the visitors’ own imaginations combine to create a truly hair-raising experience.
Scream Park opens from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Sunway Lagoon features over 90 rides and attractions at RM150 for those aged 12 years and above, and RM120 for those aged 11 years and below.
