Fun Run

Having attracted its biggest crowd yet with over 15,000 runners participating last year, the Great Eastern Live Great Run is back this year. Take part in the signature 12-kilometre run or the five-kilometre Triple Fun Run, which brings runners through its Bubble Zone, Colour Zone and Water Zone. Stay for the fun as the post-event carnival starts when the sun goes down. Families will love the giant inflatables and carnival games that they can play at the event. Hungry runners will be spoiled for choice with a wide array of food stalls to patronise. Commemorate every special moment with family and friends by taking photos at the event’s most Instagrammable hotspots, such as the giant snow globe and tunnel of fairy lights.

Rock The Stage

The 2003 comedy flick School of Rock has made its way into musical theatre with School Of Rock – The Musical. Wannabe rock star Dewey Finn is forced to earn a side income as a teacher at a prestigious prep school, but being the rebel that he is, he decides to transform his strait-laced students into pint-sized rock stars and lead them to conquer the Battle of the Bands, all while avoiding his strict peers among the teaching staff and overbearing parents. With a new score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and book by Julian Fellowes, the Auckland musical stars talented Australian performers Brent Hill and Amy Lehpamer, together with a rotating cast of 24 children in an electrifying two-and-a-half-hour show.
