World renowned Japanese restaurant group Nobu is celebrating Christmas and New Year with special Omakase menus at its Kuala Lumpur restaurant. Executive chef Philip Leong and his team have crafted two seven-course Omakase menus for the holiday season featuring a curation of tantalising premium selections that include a sushi platter, wagyu beef, lobster and abalone.

The Christmas Omakase is available from 21st to 25th December and is priced at RM560++. It features festive dishes such as the Santenmori, a selection of seafood starters comprising seasonal premium ingredients such as botan ebi (Hokkaido shrimp) and truffle; a delicate poached lobster; braised wagyu cheek; and to end on a sweet note, a creative and pretty Christmas Tree dessert. Guests will also be treated to a magic show by Santa Claus himself who will bring the magic of Christmas right to the table.

Usher in the new decade and the year 2020 with Nobu’s New Year Omakase, available from 28th December to 1st January at RM628++. The Santenmori starter features luxurious ingredients such as oyster wrapped toro, caviar and gold flakes. Among the tantalising courses are a whole steamed abalone, seared lobster, and grilled wagyu. The visually stunning Kagami dessert completes the meal with a composition of white chocolate and caramel mousse, white sponge and pumpkin ice cream. The tantalising menu is paired with spectacular views from the restaurant’s perch at level 56 of Menara 3 Petronas at KLCC; offering a grand visual of the countdown and the annual New Year fireworks displays. Guests can also toast to 2020 in style by partying late into the night accompanied throughout by the dynamic sounds of a live DJ set.
