“Love is a powerful emotion; it can change many things about a person and can also bring people together in unity. By speaking with Aadil, a UK-born Malaysian in London about his relationship with Athirah, a doctor living in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, we felt that we could capture the feeling of love, which reminds us that home is wherever we are with our loved ones. By producing it in a documercial style, we felt that we were able to best capture the feelings of love, longing, family and homecoming in a genuine and authentic way,” said Hisham.

‘Home’ features a special track from Aizat Amdan, entitled Angau. Production of the film took less than 2 weeks, and was shot between London and Kota Bharu.

Malaysia Airlines first commenced flights between Kuala Lumpur and London on 1 July 1974 with a stopover in the Middle East. After 2 December 1989, the national air carrier then embarked on non-stop flights between the two cities. Today, Malaysia Airlines flies twice daily to London and vice versa, with a flight in the morning and the other in the evening. Travellers on this route will enjoy immense comfort and space on the Airbus A380-800, which Malaysia Airlines offers in over 5,791 seats weekly in each direction.
