Malaysian adventurer, photographer and film-maker Zaharis Khuzaimah captures in photographs the shy and reclusive Suluk community that make the waters around Sabah in East Malaysia their home.
“I am very fortunate to have been able to live with the Suluk people. They were very shy and cold towards me at first but after a few laughs, they became comfortable in front of my lenses, making it easy for me to film and photograph their daily lives.” – Zaharis Khuzaimah
